We at Tortuga Recordings are real god damn pleased to announce that we have been granted the oppourtunity to release the LP version of Shadows Fall's brand spankin' new full-length. In about a years time, this blazing heavy metal quintent from Worcester, MA hooked up with their new vocalist, Brian Fair, formerly the lead crooner for the defunct metal gods Overcast, and inked a juicy deal with the metal giant Century Media Records. Their debut, "Of One Blood", hits stores this April in the digital format followed shortly by our burning hot wax version. Metal lives.

First off, we are expecting the test pressings of the new ISIS extremely limited 12" single to arrive any day now. The 12" is going to be limited to 2 or 3 hundred copies and will feature a Godflesh cover, from their upcoming RELAPSE split with Pig Destroyer, a Sabbath cover from Hydra Head's upcoming "In These Black Days" collection, and two bonus noise tracks. These things will be going mighty fast so keep your eyes on the site. We'll let you know when they arrive . . .

Boston's newest rock quartet, Milligram, have been kind enough to record a brand new EP for team Tortuga. The band is gonna probably kill us for declaring them a Boston supergroup, . . . but THEY ARE. They have all been in amazing bands over the years and have some how managed to find one another to make one more goddamn great band. Guitarist Daryl came by way of the Roadsaw camp, bassist Bob came by way of Supahead and a long hiatus, vocal man Jonah came from the defunct Miltown and Only Living Witness camps and drummer Zephan jumped on board after breakin' necks with Stompbox and Chevy Heston. Until now they've only been found on a split 7" with Quintaine Americana via Polterchrist Records. Rest assured that you shall be hearing from these men very soon. Expect the CDEP in April.

Ya just can't keep a good band down. NH's favorite sons, Scissorfight, will also be birthing a new CDEP in April. We still aren't sure how it happened, but it did. What started as a demoing session with Roadsaw crooner Craig Riggs behind the knobs, has turned into a full on CDEP. The five song (possible six) song CD has a couple of cover tunes and two new originals. Expect more news once the Mt. Washington gentlemen decide to fill us in . . .

Roadsaw's mammoth new full-length, "Rawk and Roll" will see the light of day from Tortuga on the double LP format. MIA gets the boring old CD, we get the glorious gatefold! The band is still held up in the studio putting on the finishing touches, but we plan to get it out before the band makes their second jaunt through Europe this summer.
